Actually, it wasn't Kimberly's last episode from this era. She actually returned 5 months later. That's when she was revealed to be married to Phillip Collier. Also, she got into a car accident. Right after that, she developed Multiple Personality disorder, due to being abused by her uncle Eric.
living seperate lives, they never got back together. Kim & Phillip left town together in 1993 and Patsy Pease has done some periodic returns over the years alone.
Well, they did get back together finally (recently) after Alice's funeral.
