  • A great Prime minister.

Real conviction and a sense of purpose.

  • I loved growing up in Britain when it was Conservative, my school education was great and declined badly after 1997. I want Labour out of power. NHS is failing hand over fist under Labour.

  • Let me guess, you read the telegraph? The NHS is not failing, that's just scaremongering from right winged press. The fact is waiting lists are down, as Labour promised prior to 1997 and an average of 250,000 lives per year are saved from heart disease and cancer due to the extra funding. Does not sound like it is failing to me.

  • Better Brown than another Blair. Cameron is an embarrassment.

  • Please try your "up most" and get me a house for 3 times my salary like 1997 - then you said "I will not allow house prices to get out of control and put at risk the sustainability of the future." You also said I am determined that the UK should not return to the "instability, speculation and negative equity" of the 1980s and 1990s.

  • Listen i've voted Labour all my life, but what needs to happen is a overhall with the public sector.Retiring with those super pensions, paid full pay when your off work, for up to three months, travell allowinces of 60 pence a mile.A friend of mine was of work for six weeks with a fractured toe. He was fine after a fortnight.

  • Wake up and smell the fascism!

  • How is he fascist, how did you jump to that conclusion?

  • He is clearly a sincere person who will try his best to make things better for us all, and to improve the opportunities for young people. Just let him get on with it.

  • yes hmmmm yes he do just that.

  • You should never let your masters "get on with it", that's how corruption starts.

  • When will you wake up and stop distorting the facts and manipulating the figures? When will you in real terms undertake your responsibilities, such ideologies that you are imposing on society. Should you not take heed of your own hollow words??

What about the Millions of children in OVERCORWDED housing, which you have ignored???

    Despicable and Scandalous....

  • I agree one should treat everyone fairly. I feel it is wrong to strap someone to a table, put a cloth over their face and pour water on them to simulate drowning. If Michael Mukasey can't see that I think Democrats should oppose his appointment as Attorney General.

  • "Oh look, we're surrounded by books! It's lovely isn't it!?"

    IT'S A BLOODY LIBRARY!

I've done both my primary and secondary education with Labour in power and I don't believe they've done anything but bugger up my opportunities. First thing they need to do is hit secondary schools hard. He compares terrorism to foot and mouth...completely different!

I just don't see where he's going or what his actual policies are, almost as though he's avoiding saying what they actually are.

  • What is wrong with compraing two different things. You are pedantic.

Labour put more into schools. You tories and BNP would ruin our schools.

  • Strength through unity. Unity through strength. Britain will soldier on.

  • The treatment I've received from the NHS has generally always been poor (was about to put 'deplorable', but perhaps that is a little harsh).

One of the things that is very admirable about Gordon Brown is that he seems to GENUINELY care about education.

  • ^Either way, I am a Labour supporter, member and activist. I love this video.

  • Gordon Brown is going to be a good PM. Like Masslib said, he's started strong. I think he'll keep the record going good.

  • A very good political broadcast on Labour's behalf. Prime Minister Brown has done a very good job during the first three months of his tenure. Let's hope his good work continues.

  • Vague on actual policy but perhaps that'll come in the following weeks ;-)

People criticise Brown for being dull but you don't deal with the issues facing the country better if you're a comedian. Brown has integrity, determination, verve, a *vision* for how he sees the country meeting the challenges and solidifying the "progressive consensus" moulded after 10 years of this government - something with which "Dave" Cameron has not at all - and stature.

  • oo the satire.

anyway, tony blair has done too much damage to the uk.

do you think and are you capable of really fixing the damage?

  • He won't be diverted. I believe that.
