  • nice video man

  • Maybe with the troops coming home, we'll see a lot more of these on the surplus market soon! The older single vestibule style is a terrific one man stealth tent. I like the ability to have the big screen opening out the front for viewing outside. Perfect for regular camping trips! With the blackout feature it makes a great bug-out/stealth option too! Get a newer style two vestibule rain-fly online as a spare and you have the option of having both available for whatever your requirement are!

  • @Backpackingreviewer, thanks for the reviews on the woodland cameo tents. What tent do you prefer? The Eureka Military Combat Tent or the Diamond Brand Marine Combat Tent? What is the difference and why choose one or the other? I’ve you find another one, perhaps we can do some business. Anyway, I like your style of doing the review and you convinced me to go for the single vestibule and perhaps even for going for the 1 person version tents (as long as the girlfriend can come along ;-) cheers :-)

  • @andrisig33 I like the eureka for a couple reasons, they are reinforced in a few key areas and the seams are taped. Also the fit and finish of the tents are slightly better. They are both great though and the Diamond Brand is less expensive so it's a good option. They only have eureka and ORC versions of the smaller shelter and the ORC version is junk compared to the Eureka version. They are 6inches shorter width wise and dont have as many tie down loops, Stay away from ORC Tents

  • @Backpackingreviewer thanks for the additional info. If you find another eureka tent.. send me a PM :-) Even do I live in The Netherlands, I have some family in the states to have it send to… Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences. I hope to do some exploring in the states myself soon

  • Sweet tent. Do you have anymore? I can't find you on ebay. Also do you have any more Catoma Stealth 1? I'm not sure what would be better for me.

    Nate

  • @CdnLifeguard71 Unfortunately none as of now. I am always looking though. They turn up here and there but they are very rare. Ill let ya know when some come along.

  • Will you provide me with the dimension of rainfly pole (individual tube length, #, total length and tube diameter)? Have been unable to locate entire tent, but found just rainfly for my Backcountry 1 and need to manufacture pole. Let me know if you know location for entire tent. Thanks B.

  • Hey Everyone, I have Some Good News! I have a friend at an army base in warren Ohio. They have several tents that were only used one time that I should be able to get my hands on in the next week. I got one so far but havent inspected it yet. I have a few more coming and as long as they check out I will get the rest here soon! Ebay seller name is Backpackingreviewer feel free to email me to secure one! Thanks

  • im looking for you/ it on ebay cant find anything if you have sold them all let me know all i can find are these tents for like 600$ is there a place i can get one cheaper

  • update, the last tents I have been able to get will be all sold I have 4 left. They are on ebay now. I am lucky to have helped over 30 people find a great deal on these rare tents. It has been fun to get to know a quite a few like minded individuals. If you need one of these hit up ebay search "eureka tcop", seller name back packing reviewer. I am not a ebay business guy by any means just helping some people out. My next products reviews are coming soon late next week!

  • My next review will be on the Eureka Mountain Pass 3xte Its a sweet and very under talked about tent, I have owned it for a few years and its and actual 2 person set up (two straight guys lol) and when split its less than 4# each. I have about 6 Of the Combat Tents Left I wiped Out The Surplus Inventory, They Are Legit & Still In The Eureka! Box! I will also be reviewing the Military Therma Rest & Sleep System Too. I am Going To Be Waiting For A Rainy Day & Camp In Only The Sleep System

  • Just got my hands on a few more of these tents, Brand new exactly the same as seen here. Go to ebay, seller name is the same as on here. The surplus store that secured them told me they think this will be it. Search seller or Search "Eureka Military Combat Tent 1-2 Person ICS 2000 TCOP"

  • this is the tent I have been wanting to review and test for the tactical community. just need to wait for the economy to pick up again.

  • @weaponeer what state are you in?

  • @Backpackingreviewer - Wisconsin. Land of 95 degrees one day, and 61 degrees the next, and a rainy and HIGH humidity season lasting from April to Nov.. I have been hosting Camp and shoot weekends with some of my subscribers where they get to see all new products, tents and shelters, but this is the tent that with a little social and direct marketing to the tactical community would be the winner of the best tactical tent, and likely alway sold out because of it lol

  • @weaponeer Heck yeah I think its perfect for that environment. I cant understand why makers of tents don't cater to this type of customer. Every tent maker should be putting out a camo low profile durable tent. The only environment I wouldn't use this in would be the tropics. For most of North America This the ideal 1 person or male and female tent. Perfect for motorcycle campers too. Or mountain bike campers and stealth campers. By far my favorite tent I have ever tested on so many levels.

  • I have 2 more of these tents available just search "Eureka Military Combat Tent 1-2 Person ICS 2000 TCOP Tent" on ebay, Glad I was able to help a few of you secure these. Be careful when buying, I have gotten some that were like factory seconds and there are quite a few different versions, some are smaller some are not Eureka, some don't have the Block Out finish etc. I got a couple that were a total bust stay away from non-descriptive sellers.

  • Rockin the Mocs!

Cool Vid. Whats your average setup time with this?

  • @MobFrenziedHomicide I would say if you practice you could do it in under 3min, 5min or less your very first set up. Thanks for watching

  • @Backpackingreviewer Nice. Have you used this in cold weather (or snow) at all, if so how does it hold up?

  • @MobFrenziedHomicide I haven't used it in the cold but will, I have an army buddy who says they are great though. Just face the vestibule to the wind, they used them training in the GA mountains for cold weather training and that they had about 4inces of snow. He said the tent structure is fine but put a lightweight tarp draped over the entrance side in case you get dumped on. I have taken less quality tents into those conditions and been fine this should work great!

  • @Backpackingreviewer Sweet, this definitly seems to be the tent I need, thanks for the vid, and the responses! Now to find one.

  • @MobFrenziedHomicide I have one posted on ebay never intended to sell tents, but a surplus store in Ohio has turned up a few and I buy them as they come in now so the circle of people checking out my vid's can find one, its fully inspected and good to go. Search"Eureka Military Combat Tent 1-2 Person ICS 2000 TCOP Tent" on ebay, my seller name is the same as on here Backpackingreviewer. Just so ya know I am selling for 0 profit. Good luck....They rock.

  • Great review. THank you for the video. I am new to all ofthis, and this sems like the best way to go. Thanks.

  • @edavis5190 Thanks for watching!

  • As always good tent reviews bro.

Is this a used ICS 2000 or is this the newer TCOP? I Was on the phone with Eureka costomer service last week and Sandy at Eureka stated that they do sell new TCOP tents to the public. I am not 100% on what she told me the cost was, but I remember it seemed reasonable, much less than the $600 some say they cost new.

    The TCOP has two vestibules.

  • Great review! Ive been looking into trying one of these out. I may just get one. Looks like a really good set up.

  • @desertsurvivalist I have it set up now in a down pour if it passes this test there is no way I'd have anything else. I thought it was going to be bulkier and heavier but its not bad at all! Thanks for looking!

  • This exact tent has had the main seems seam gripped and offered for sale on ebay for 209 with free shipping when that one sells I will put my last one up for sale. I am definitely keeping one of these for a long time! Hope I helped someone out. Thanks Beast!!!! Just search ebay "Eureka Military Combat Tent 1-2 Person ICS 2000 TCOP"

  • @Backpackingreviewer nice work bud

  • @beast12101 You inspired It! You do great work! Thanks for the comment!
