@nitojo7 We are always giving to those who have more - governments, corporations, and so on. Nobody owns anything. God owns everything. We borrow. There are many devotees of all colors around the world. Also "white" is just a temporary material condition. You are a soul. Your body may be white, black, Indian, British- it doesn't matter. You are not your body. This came from India and many people around the world know there is more to this life than material pursuit!

So i would be more surprised if i saw a 'Indian, Sri lankan or Bangladeshi' in US or Europe at that time.....Plus it is a pyramid scheme all leading up to God i.e. Sri Krsna...'Whites' give themselves president etc who is/are corrupted why not surrender unto a pure source?

Srilla Prabhupad had nothing. He slept with the devotees in the same living quarters and ate the same food. He lived in abject poverty just as much as they did. Its just the same as a senior member in the Catholic church. They are revered for their knowledge/devotion and nothing else. The reason it seems aimed toward westerners is because Swami was fulfilling the great devotee Lord Caitanya's prophecy that one day Hare Krishna would be chanted in all parts of the world. It was his goal.

By their own practice they can show you this path, and by way of practice, you can also have some realization. Such a teacher is called acarya, guru, or holy spiritual master. Such a guru will never fall. We should try to associate with him.

Crying to him from the core of your heart will bring his mercy. So simple yet we avoid it. He can make the impossible become possible. Only when we are like Draupadi who gave up hope of every other person or thing she may have relied on and took shelter only of Krsna, then He will come. And Sri Guru is so merciful that he will hear even quicker than Krsna.

@brnt108 If you pray to Krishna sincerely from the bottom of your heart then surely he will send help to you. Always hear Hari Katha from elevated Vaishnavas and follow their instructions and all auspiciousness will come to you. Try to chant the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra every day even if you can only manage 5 minutes then you will see the results-never never give up. Hare Krishna!
