River is the best place to put your first set of wards. :)

An old cheesy beta strat was to get 5 smites, multiple Madred's and Rally, take out Baron around 12 minutes (they changed the spawn time at some point) then push and win.

@Jenetik214 Yi's Tier 3 on Elementz' list if that's what you're implying. Above almost half of the champions in game, he's quite effective if build AP. Albeit a bit lacking in a teamfight, he gets good burst off and pushes a lane quite efficiently.
