Hm... after reading through the comments, I see that a LOT of people thought it was Irish... I stand by my gripe about the generalizations people make about Americans. The second trailer makes it obvious that they're Scottish, but all you got in this one was one bit of narration and a little red-haired girl. No kilts, no pipes, just one guy... who yes, I can't imagine anyone thinking is Irish, nevertheless, it isn't much if you aren't familiar with it.

Americans are certainly interested in cultures other than their own, but I don't think they're obsessed with any single country. Maybe you're just obsessed with them. ;)

@Bttoyota1 My guess it is because American culture is, by a historical stand point, new. We don't have a lot of cool stuff to talk about. We have some cool people, but some of the most memorable weapons in the world with some of the most epic battles in history were fought and used before our country was founded. Hell, there are games being played that are older then the states. Plus all the best fantasy story's, weapons, and places are based in that European area.

America does have some legends and epic tails but the country is only a little over 200 years old, it does seem odd to me that the little American myth and folklore there is has rarely seen any attention from the major filmakers (Pocahontas does not count)/ Look up the tales of Pecos Bill, John Henry, Paul Bunyan, hell Davy Crockett used to be huge 60 years ago. Anyone of those would make great animated movies.
