Very impressive. I couldn't imagine ever approaching a DJ Shadow song with the intention of creating a percussion ensemble piece. This is really cool.

I can't believe you couldn't get the main melody right. The players also keep rhythm VERY badly. I hope this clip was from a musical comedy show. No offense, just calling like I see it.

I completely agree. It's still a bloody good effort... but the poor timing killed it. The fast bits sounded like a bunch of kids randomly banging on things. The intro was great however. Slow bits rocked. Fast bits...killed small kittens all over the world.
Nice arrangement, just get the players up to standard.

These ARE/WERE high school kids, remember. There are way more skilled professionals out there, but these were just kids solicited for the project.
