I can't believe how beautiful this is. CBC radio is a dangerous place to go when I'm supposed to be studying....A quick listen turned into hunting down this album on itunes and hunkering down with my eyes closed to listen to this instead of studying for my final tomorrow.... well worth it.
Magnificent piece of music by Snider and Worden. The use of the Odyssey as a metaphor to what is left in the aftermath, when men go to war.........tearful women and children -on both sides.
Shara is fantastic. I am a huge MBD fan, and I found this video while searching her username (zosima) on Twitter. What strikes me is how simple her part is compared to the dynamic orchestral part--yet Shara's voice still holds a firm presence, like she's fighting getting lost in the music. Wonderful collaboration!
I'm definitely getting this album next paycheck! ;)
Many emotional highs reached upon multiple listens. Very rewarding experience. The album is a recommended listen! :)

Shara is one of my favourite singers. She sings emotions straight into you heart.

Amazing! I just had my Penelope CD in the mail and can't stop listening! Now I only wish Shara would come to Europe again ...
