Kenneth and Copeland preach Christ as the Saviour and deliverer. You call it doctrinal errors? The boy saw vision, and wanted to serve Jesus, you call that error?
you're a hypocrite. how can you say on one breath that this is false doctrine, then on the other say to study you Bibles? The Bible teaches about these very supernatural things. The Bible encourages them. Hello?
You question was how can i say this in the same breath? Well if you would study you bible you will understand that this is false doctrine. It's that simple.Secondly, I agree with you that the Bible does teach about these supernatural things but because it's supernatural doesn't mean it's from God. The Bible teaches that Satan can also do miracles. You say the bible encourages this right? Can you show me some bible texts ????
italianicecream, you're not on the right side here. The entire Book of Acts is the Bible 'text' I would cite, but to be specific: "And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them." (Acts 16:8-10)
I believe this sort of experiance comes from God.. even though I've never experianced it. God can move however he wants... he is a God of pleasure and in His presence there are pleasures forever more. These videos make me hungry to go deeper in God. I'm not seeking a experiance but seeking Jesus.. but if I have a experiance too.. I wouldn't mind at all!
I have not had a vision from the Lord. I'm not expecting one. If I ever do receive a vision I will test it as instructed in 1 John 4:1. The Lord doesn't need to come to me in a vision to further my faith or give new revelation, which these faith healers insist they receive in an on-going fashion from the Lord. Much more can said about tongues but since it is not an essential Christian doctrine, we can debate w/out dividing over it. Please address my statement that Hagin and Copeland?
Does this laughter have anything to do with the video of Kenneth Hagin and Kenneth Copeland-Pentecostal Bedlam? Is it the same type of laughing? And are you saying the 8 year old boy literally spoke in a voice to him? Just wondering?
Yes this would be the same type of joy experienced by Kenneth Hagin and Kenneth Copeland. In the Bible it says, "The disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and with joy".
That's scary. I've never seen Christians act as ridiculous as in that Pentecostal Bedlam video. If an unbeliever were at that scene, how could you expect he or she to take those people seriously? Copeland and Hagin have so many doctrinal problems. I hope you don't believe they're legitimate. For my question regarding the 8 yr.old-I meant to ask, Did he say he heard the audible voice of Jesus?
I can tell you what happened when unbelievers entered the scene. As soon as they entered the door, an entire class of University students fell to the floor in tears asking, "What must we do?" Then through them, the revival spread to the University. This is exactly what Paul said would happen if "all prophesy" and an unbeliever walks in. Paul also said "tongues are a sign to unbelievers". Well, how will tongues ever be a sign to unbelievers if unbelievers never get to hear them?
So why did they fall to the floor? Were the tongue speakers speaking in a language that only the University students spoke and therefore they were amazed and fell down? If not, who did the interpreting. Tongues without interpretation seems like it would be useless to the unbeliever.
As for the 8yr old boy, he simply told us that the Lord spoke to him in a vision. Whichever way it happened, it was obviously very real to the boy. Have you never had a vision? The Bible promises that you will, when the Holy Spirit is poured out upon you! (Joel, Acts 2) Bless you - and thanks for your comment: I appreciate it.
