Interesting video. There is SO much more to be said. Petrodollar recycling. OPEC. Why OPEC agreed to sell oil in dollars. Google all of this. Basically, petrodollar recycling goes as: pick a country. Any country. Say, Germany. If Germany wants oil, it needs to sell the US a product of Germany, say a BMW. We pay Germany US dollars for the BMW, Germany then can use these US dollars to buy oil from OPEC, then OPEC invests these dollars into the US economy. This is basically petrodollar recycling.

hey, this guy called Tariq Ali I think, brings up the same point saying it was Iraq's plans to stop chargin in the dollar that was truly the motive of the invasion rather than the supposed security threat Iraq posed. I haven't read the book you mentioned but might invest in a copy as it'll probably be useful for my next year of study. Thanks for the recommendation.

Wow.. Someone that finally gets it. I've been telling everybody about this all week. But in essence, Bush DID the right thing in Iraq for the best interests of our country.
