Judging by their equipment they're British. However I am somewhat confused. The Rifles in use dictate 1939-1940. Even though there was a troop movement through the Ardenne at that time there were no major conflicts which would fit this movie.

The fight centered around the Dunkirk area which was nowhere near as forested and a group of soldiers who were on the retreat from just about day 1.

Can we get an intellectually honesty WWII movie?
