  • Okay. This question isn't a joke...But how are you able to stay away from a bathroom with all these veggies? I'm doing it but I need to go alot! What should I eat more of spinach? Any other ideas? I eat more veggies than fruit. Just a fruit smoothie in the morning.

  • Thank you for sharing this , i have a question . i have a hormonal issue wich makes me loose and gain weight very fast , like in one day i can lose 2 keys . then gain back the next day . It hasnt much to do with eating . But my skin has been loose because of it and i want to get tighten up again . the thing is , i got 2 or 3 spines twisted.   • @netmondon2012 I have trouble with nightshades however yams or sweet potatoes are not potatoes and have more flavor. I don't eat my carbs with meat and have 0 indigestion. The stomach digests better when you food combine properly. If you can handle eating small meals you can combine however you must figure out the amount of each and eat plain (no fats added). Fats and dairy impede digestion of other foods.

  • I have experimented with cheddar and cream cheese and found they really jack your system up. I was getting high blood pressure in the 90's and a bloated and puffy feeling. My adrenal glands were shot mid day and I had to dope up on more cheese. So after only 1 day off the cheeses my blood pressure is down to the 70's and while I don't feel as big I have better digestion and well being. It is much easier to control adrenals without the drug of cheeses. Cheese n butter kills digestion period.

  • You see, after doing Akins for a month and losing a stone, cos according to them ..'To lose fat One must eat fat' It's quite difficult to change my way of thinking, yet I am always drawn back to these vid's...... So there must be something in it. This fella Dan doesn't have an oz on fat on him. He must know what he's talking about. I gave up smoking a few months ago..If I can do that, then surely I can do this. After getting rid of the smokes, anything is possible, right?

  • @mysticaltheologist In case this benefits anyone else, I discovered the daily intense cardio wasn't working, and substituted with 2 hour long walks/day..morning and evening...and the weight is finally dropping. Also did some EFT which helped as well. I guess what I learned here was to be more intuitive about my body and follow what is right for myself. I was beginning to worry I had a thyroid problem...but I guess not. Slow and steady wins the race for me.

It's first time I'm trying so hard in sometheng and the result is nothing...:((( Still I like this style, I love fruts and vegies, but all the time I have to thing how less I can eat because I gane as a crasy, deffinitely it's not working for me. Sometimes I think it's probably because we take more vitamins and the body allows to itself to put more and more....

    A video on how what raw foods to eat to improve thyroid function would be wonderful. I've been 100% raw and eating mostly fruit and veggies. Feeling great, but the weight loss is a bit slow.

  • @Coppulor hey got ur email. im not 100 percent raw cause of lack of money etc, im sort of a "freegan" so i dont want to waste free food so i'll eat it, but i am buying more fruit & veg than i ever have in my life! i have so much more energy, & a long list of probs have left me! this diet definitely works! ive lost weight, my hair is shinier, my wrinkles left, etc! my husband loves meat and juicing is expensive, must eat tons of raw to stay full, $ is issue. but i love this diet & it works!

  • @jimmytube717 For calories you just eat more. Fruits and veggies have TONS more energy compared to cooked meat so there really isn't anything to worry about. Hope you eat more raw living food :)

  • The only reason the raw food thing works is because fruits and vegetables has less calories than any high fat food. Fats have 9 calories per gram and carbs and proteins have 4 calories per gram. There is nothing special about it your just consuming less calories. Its VERY hard to eat lots of calories if all your eating if fruits and vegetables.

  • You can lose weight on ANY diet if you watch your caloric intake. You can gain weight on a healthy diet if you eat more calories then you burn. If you eat mcdonalds but burned more calories then you ate you would lose weight. As a heavy weight lifter i NEED complex carbs to fuel my body for my workouts. What do you thinks in fruits and vegetables? COMPLEX CARBS. The good thing about eating healthy is that you can eat more of it because it has less calories. Also complex carbs are high in fiber.

I went on the master cleanser by Stanley Burroughs for 17 days, which I had done several times before, but when I got off of the cleanse this time I no longer crave the junk food. I was a cookie, cake, ice cream etc. eating junkie & now I don't even want the stuff. It repulses me. Now I crave fruits, veggies, raw walnuts, pecans, almonds etc. Grapes are nature's candy. I know I am on the right path 4 health:0)

  • I am Mormon and our religion teaches what you talk about. D&C 89 teaches not to eat meat unless time of famine. It also teaches us to live the raw diet in my opinion. I am still adjusting to the raw diet and experimenting because everyone is unique in their needs. Eating raw I have experienced appetite again, clearer skin, no asthma, run for hours without losing breath, and wake up every day at 6AM. I have found the biggest thing is eating nuts and seeds with fruits/veggies.

  • @Dustin212112 I have a severe gluten allergy, so I feel your pain, man. I miss the occasional piece of bread. If you are not 100% raw yet, there are good alternative pastas (brown rice) but no real substitute for bread. Is it bread or carb cravings? A nice, FRESH organic spud feeds mine.

  • How dumb do I feel after spending thousands on my deteriorating health over the years only to find that the solution was free. Now I grow and eat my own raw food . wheatgrass especially. I feel amazin, 4real. i use to try live on rice, bread, protein shakes and little fruit and found it hard to loose fat as effectively as ur diet. Im trying to get as lean as possible. I gotta question tho... do u reccomend flax seed? i have a dessert spoonful a day 2 hours before my cardio. do i need this? it has omega 3,6 and 9

  • I think the fear for many people, cause I have it, on giving up the meat / protein is this: when I lift weights (want to have nice muscle mass & strength), its the programming ofI need to consume meat or something with a lot of protein. Is this a fear or accurate to think? I mean, will I gain muscle or strength if after a workout I just ate fruit and veggies? Like a banana, orange or pineapple w/ some peas or green beans. Basically not getting that much protein. Is the protein really needed?

  • Conventionally grown produce is better than nothing! Buy organic if/when you can afford it & keep in mind that fruits/veggies where you EAT the skin, such as grapes, are generally likely to have MORE pesticides. Things like avocados & bananas have minimal pesticides so it's not necessary to buy those organic, although organic often tastes better. Just be sure to wash your produce! I use this (replace each 'dot' w/ a '.' as I can't put links in comments)

  • Fruits/any sugars give me indigestion. Only the low carb diet keeps me pain free, and a betaine hcl supplement. I had GERD for more than a year. Other than that, you are 100% bang on :-)

  • Hi! Just keep it simple...whole fruits, whole vegetables, leafy greens! Eat more fruit! Eat more salads! If you're able to make them have juices and/or smoothies too, but that is not vital (if you can't afford a juicer, for example). So I repeat...just keep it simple with fruits & vegetables! Good luck!
