I know it's a cheap thing to do but when I fight shang tsung, I wait for him to morph into reptile and dive kick him until he disappears and when he's back on screen, I just keep kicking him. It's a quick and easy way to preserve your live for the next boss battles that follow.

I've never played this game, and from the looks of this video, it appears the plot is even worse than that of a bad B-movie flick, so I don't think I'll every play it. But..... it's very nice that they kept Shang Tsung's original MK2 appearance in this game! I like it much more than the appearance he's got in Deadly Alliance, he didn't even look chinese anymore.

I also saw an inferior demonstration of a victory over kintaro from a user that played as Liu Kang and ONLY used the somersault, something as practical as ugly, at the very least. The fight should be in the old style, "hand to hand", not HAT-to-hand, the lack of criativity displayed is very sad, I think we should start searching for sharper tactics rather than SLUGGISH playing.
