  • ehemm! Huskies are okay to run on ice? They have protective shoes YouTubilify if it is your concerne, buy them shoes arsiss. Right surface, not even my horses have horse shoes, wrong surface, if you can't GET them, FIND A WAY TO MAKE THEM. Shoes. Wake up and get off of the couch for heaven's sake.

  • Only difference is that her dogs should be foot-clad.

  • Sad, dangerous and reckless. The woman in this video has anger problems that she is projecting onto her poor dogs. I wonder if she discussed this plan with the dog's veterinarian first. Note where she is riding. Biltmore Circle. Wealthy people like her don't care about defenseless animals.

  • @YouTubilify I simply can't see where the "anger" you're talking about, is. Could you give a time-line on the vid you're referring to? The "woman" is either "showing" anger, or is expressing "anger problems"? Just wondering. Perhaps I simply need it pointed out, since I viewed this video 3 times after reading your comment and only saw a woman talking to her dogs and the person filming this vid with a smile. What annoys me is why we can't HEAR them with Bonanza elevator music instead.

  • @CitizenOvTheWorld Try to imagine instead that this woman was driving her Mercedes with the same two dogs tied to the bumper of her car while she was driving 20 miles per hour around her neighborhood with the windows down. Would you then call the police department and ask them to arrest her for animal cruelty? Just because she locked them to a bike rather than a car doesn't make this less dangerous. Psychology has shown that people who harm animals are angry and disturbed

  • @YouTubilify right, THAT's a comparison ':oN it makes so much sense now, kind'a like comparing drag racing to drag queens don't cha think

  • GOOD =D

  • Moron!!!. I'd like to tie this fat bitch on to the back of my truck and have her run behind me barefoot on hot Arizona asphalt and see how she likes it.

Dogs should not run that long on asphalt.

  • @jortiz9758 LOL !! few things are more patetic then You-tube-anger !!!

  • IDIOT!

  • my buddys dog ripped the pad off its front paw, during a simular stunt

  • We have endless paving here, tell me pleeeeeease where I could get that contraption for my dog. D'ya think it could fit on the ICE trike? He's around the same size. Summer days the ground is too hot, but definitely evening times.

  • Mush!!!!

  • poor dog running on asphalt

  • wowwww que legal, muito bacana mesmo, adorei a idéia

  • Looks great--please consider adding "dog boots", cause sooner or later they WILL slip a pad, or burn a pad--0uch. Rough wear makes me and maybe others and they work great, don't cost much

  • Oooh! Glad to see someone else who rides with their dog! My husky goes nuts if he doesn't get a few runs in a week with my trike. And he CAN tell me when he's tired, thirsty, etc... Mostly, he tells me when we've rested long enough and it's time to get moving again. :P

  • looks like that harness for the brown and white dog is bothering its gate

  • @ohmphthschwrhu Looks natural to me.. The leaning away from objects is normal, that's why dog sledding works so well... If they leaned inwards, it would be a dog pile!

  • great theme music for this video.

  • hey, cute...... looks like all in the family scene, but why not hitch them up like a dog sled and have some extra hill climbing energy when needed. aloha, forest

  • Saw one for the first time today!

  • Love the Bonanza sound track.

  • It looks a little uncomfortable at such a slant?

  • @Brie217 Uncomfortable? Have you ever reclined in a LaZyboy? Same position on a recumbent...

  • @5TR8FLV5H Hey check this bicycle attachment out at afitdog.com

  • Oh I have two Mals that I run with the golfcart now. I am so getting one of these!!! How easy is it to control if one of the dogs tries to bolt after a cat or another dog? My babies weigh 95 and 145 pounds respectively.

  • Oh my Gosh! I love this! I have a bicycle and a Springer, but I am mobility impaired. I am trying to teach my service dog to run with the Springer now. If I could afford a recumbent bike like this and hook her up in this manner, it would probably be easier on both of us. I'll definitely be looking into the feasibility of this!

  • THAT'S JUST COOL AS HELL!!!!!!

  • How fun!!! Too bad we have Mini Schnauzers - they might be too small to work with my Terra Trike Path.

  • shocking!!!!!!

  • I live in Phoenix and would like to know where you got your bike. Also do you know where I could trade in an older recumbent.

  • There's one of these on sale on e-bay right now. (11/23/09)

  • Is this stock or modified? I can't find anything on the web remotely like this for exercising me and the dogs!

  • Yeah, concern for the doggies really, perhaps walking pace would be much better wit short bursts of running. My friends Labrador got hurt by running every couple of days with a friend who runs for fitness, the vet said that big dogs shouldn't do that, it's not good for them. She couldn't walk properly in the end, for ever.

  • It depends on the dog, age, condition. My 2 malamutes run on a trike like demons and love it. It is worse to UNDER-exercise dogs and let them get fat and age faster than triking them which keeps them fit - do not torture dogs, they will show you when they are tired. use common sense. Never run in bad summer heat, carry water, rest - and let the dogs show you how much they want to do. And a lot depends on the breed also. But dogs LOVE this trike - I do this with my dogs also.

  • Running alone it's not a problem. I was training (myself) professionaly and used to hve an 8 mile morning routine with my labrador running along. No problem. He lived 14 year and didn't have joints problems. But I never took him on tarmac! You shoudn't do that, as it's too hard and damages dogs joints. Ift's good to give some run exercise to your dog, just do it on a soft surface. Go to the woods, do it on the dirt!

  • That is great. My dad used to take our dogs on his bike... upright bike with leashes... and they could run forever (Labradors) ... so... do the dogs provide thrust or do they only want to run inf the trike is moving?

  • hahahhahaha, I started bikejoring on my EZ1 bent which is a blast, but those harnesses are brilliant...your dog cant wander off and get distracted, plus you got some dog food powered thrusters on each side

  • These dogs look happy!

  • Can your dogs tell you when they're tired, hurting knees, sick?

    Please remember to moderate this!

  • They're not my dogs, but those dogs ar e clearly not having any problem keeping up. My money's on the person wearing out before the dogs.

  • yep. i run with a trike and 2 malamutes. they will fly away with you if you let them. It depends on the breed - some are ultimate runners like malamutes, others cannot run far or fast and you have to be careful, depends ont he dog really.

  • of course your dog can tell you - i run with 2 malamutes on a trike - i see immediately when somebody is tired, something bothers them. but most of what is see every day is 2 happy eager grinning malamutes running like the wind, loving the trike. if you know your dog, you will know when it is uncomfortable.

  • what if the dogs tripped, they'd straight away be dragged along and the device would tip up -injuring the other dog.

    .

    you too.

  • Love it! How far can your dogs run with you? Do you think there's enough clearance behind the dogs to pull a pet trailer, in case the dog poops out before the rider does?

  • Depends on the dog and breed, age, condition. 1-2 miles is A LOT and tough for many dogs - my 2 malamutes run on a trike and do 10-20 miles and love it.

  • you can haul a trailor behind these tadpoles. (not sure about this set up). I have a tadpole trike with a trailor for a disabled child. I've clocked max about 25 miles pulling a 60lb kid. You gotta be in good shape though. My guess is that you'd poop out long before the dogs do.

  • We love this video!

We've added you to our YouTube Chanel.

  • Awesome, you're getting a workout too! like the music too!
