  • Jaidev, an exceptional composer that he was, has immortalised 'Madhushala' in the same manner as was done by various other composers who gave 'sur' to various 'nazms' and 'ghazals'. Similarly Manna Dey has made Sh. Harivansh Rai Bachchan's work more lovable and popular, as did K. L. Saigal and Begum Akhtar did to various 'ghazals' and 'nazms' of the likes of Ghalib, Meer, Momin and other poets. Simply superb !
