An example of some K-Rock is Seo TaiJi. (Look up Seo TaiJi's song T'Ik T'ak) Seo Taiji has done both Sides K-Pop and K-Rock.

So what I'm saying is they sorta do have emo style.. Just you'll not find it often because of how popular K-Pop is internationally compared to K-Rock. (Well that's my opinion.)

In particular, this song (Happiness) isn't originally SJ's. It was first sung by H.O.T. Under your logic, wouldn't SJ be "going too far" by releasing their own version? H.O.T. sang it first. It's not fair to say that, just like it's not fair to say SJ-M can't cover SJ songs.
