I have seen other similar ways of preventing drinking and driving, but the megnetic-pinned lock is a great idea, which I have never seen anything like. There would have to be some research done into wear and corrosion that may occur on magnetic pins, but assuming that those issues were dealt with if they arose, this is a brilliant idea with real commercial prospects and applications.
