GE Honda Aero Engines??? if the market is such a competition why is GE helping Honda on jet propulsion technology? Not To mention the US helping Korea on engine technology? it's weird because no other country does this kind of things unless there is a huge interest involve.
@ejc45 Companies always look for new business. Don´t believe conspiracy theories about technology. By the way, this aircraft is made in North Carolina
AircraftCompare DOTcom has every details with specs and photos of almost every aircraft in the planet, commercial, military or private jets, from the past present and FUTURE FLYING CARS, you have it all. Compare the Boeing 747 or the A380 side by side, or the MIG vs the F16, this site also has user feedback generated category wise airplane and helicopter rankings. Cool stuff guys do check it up .....
Honda has always been expanding their horizons. When Soichiro Honda said he wanted to start making cars in addition to motorcycles everyone thought he was crazy. Now look at Honda, it is a major world provider of high quality vehicles. They make generators, specialty motors; aircraft are simply the next step. Every company must evolve to stay competitively advantageous. Besides, if its a good product, then what's the problem?
@Alloyaha honda's greatest achievement , design compromises. the motorcycles have a flaw in the clutch basket area. who knows what cost compromises are made in this that are not worth your life.
I dont care for a jet like this if i was flying, I wanna get my hands on a cirus jet just to specifically train on it, get the license for it, fly people then save up for one purchase one yank out the back seats add a mattress for backseat banging
American car companies could never make planes, their build quality is too low. the US FAA arn't as analy retentive as the UK CAA when it comes to personal avaiation but tthey're damn close.
I'm sure they could build a jet if they chose to. Honda has always been know for innovation. The UK doesn't build shit... in fact, the shit they do produce is just that. Case in point, judging from your typing skills, the educational system in the UK also fell short (either that, or you were a special needs student?)
Honda produces way more than just cars. To my knowledge, no other car companies, American or otherwise, have branched out into aviation. Except BMW does design some aircraft interiors, including the flight deck of the Pilatus PC-12.
I'm going to preface this by saying I don't know a whole lot about aerodynamics, but... I fail to see how the engines mounted where they are would produce MORE drag than anywhere else on the airframe. I think there could be quite a few benefits, like a more favorable CG, a high-mounting allowing shorter landing gear, and others I haven't thought of. Point is, I think the potential benefits outweighed the negatives, in the conceptual phase, and since it hasn't been changed, then prob. in testing.
actually they showed that the engines are much more efficient in those positions, other planes can't use that because the engines would be too big, but that position is better.
That was my grand mother you freaky whore! hahhahah My my how low your standards go! How low they go! Can you finally find someone within the age range of last century or are you too desparate?
GM does make jets!!! its called SAAB has been making jets & turbo props for many years... GM owns and makes hughes aircraft(helicopters)& space satilites &GM allison transmission engines/transmissions are also used in the airospace industriesthey are good but ford is crap! they made bi planes early in the century.most crashed but you can see one in the smithsonian museum in washington DC
U.S. doesnt have anything to worru about. This jet sucks. It will probably have a recall a few weeks after it comes out. Plus we have Gulfstream, Dassault, Bombardier, we've been in this game for awhile. They are just starting.
you have absolutely no clue in jet industry. Honda's been building jet engines for decades for other manufacturers like GE. they were just waiting for right time. and right now is the right time. their technology superior than any other jet manufacturer. they just need to like it.
i wonder if u have ever seen one ... but nice try bro.. tell u what take a look at this big mosquito once again u might see something better than last time...!!
Now, Honda needs to make a submarine. I have a sailboat, a jet, a car, a motorbike...now I want a fuel efficient sub.
