I find it unlikely that dragons mated in the sky. I find little scientific reason to support it, animals that mate in the air are fragile that are unlikely to survive anywhere else. (insects and small birds)
To further support evidence of unlikelyness the dragons clutch size and mating time would drastically be reduced thus making it a worse and very bad way to show affection.

Well i don't think we can look at the 'affection' with human's eye. There may be some biology technical problem with it, possibly, but affection for dragons would not be the same as human and so we can't judge it by our view.

Oh that is so sexy, Dragons are so sexy... I so would love to hold, see, and touch a dragon (regardless of the possible results) It would fill the only desire that is pure and true within my soul, my one desire to know that my only true love interests exist, to know that they still breath life and strive to survive to bring forth more of thier perfection into this world. Ah my love for them runs so strongly. I so wish I could be with them...please... just be alive somewhere...for us.

I see dragons. I am dragon. Although most people will not believe me, Dragons do exist still, its just on a different frequency then the one we exist. If your longing is that strong, then you are most likely Draken your self. :)

yes ther is u numbskull!! I found an odd obgect in my backyard and it was part of a dragon's wing!
