@mythic3162 hey! yes, you do a heavy palm mute. since it's on acoustic, you have to really mash your right hand on the strings, close to the bridge. that effect is truly the magical element of this song.

@chuchit13 These tabs work with the melody, but they are not correct in the sense of how Rise against actually plays it. The real chords have a much more complex sound, despite only being marginally different. I've never found a correct tab for them on the internet, but I learned them by watching every live video of rise against playing this song and studying them.

@NickolisIrby The chord progression they play is super simple, and not complex sounding at all. It's just a pretty melody and a similarly melodic progression. No need to try and make it sound fancy, it is what it is. A simple, earnest song.
