@BlackChronosXIII - Incidentally, Ken has the slowest, weakest, AND fastest Hadokens of the main 3 (Ryu Akuma and Ken). Which is kinda funny about the little differences they all have; he's technically got the best surprise one, but overall is below average on throwing damaging fireballs at people.

@rmcooktails Yes, and no. while some moves are similar, they haven different frame properties and invicibilty. And that leads into a different whole playstyle all together. while ryu is more of a defensive fighter that can lead into combos with counter attacks, ken focus on being a full on flashy fighter, have 2 of the most over the top ultra's in the game.

@championofgods lol someone hasn't been playing MvC3. Mortal kombat is way too simple to be a great fighter. The fights feel too paced. Street fighter, tekken, soul calibur, blazblue, even SSBB are all greater fighting games than mk games. The system is just waaay too simplistic and not fun.

Every single one of the huge amount of characters have their own attacks combos, 3 specials, and 3 on 3 matches with the ability to tag in and out in the middle of combos. That game is huge., and ssbb is a fighting game, although it is unorthodox, it is, because all you do is fight in it...

SF is plain and boring and did not evolved, when I play SF4 I feel like I am playing a very old game... while MK has a nostalgia feeling while at same time its a fresh. True, I didnt played MvC3, but I've already seen people saying that they favor MK over MvC3. (and yes I have Tekken, SSF4, Soul Calibur and Blazblue and already played SSBB, MK is still the best.)

@championofgods SF4 Does the same as what you say MK Does The first SF4 was a very basic fighting game, but it was original and fun. SSF4 and Arcade edition pushed it forward and made it feel much more modern. I guess it's just a difference in taste. Also SF always has workarounds to people spamming hadokens :P But i just can't see how people find mk fun. Besides the fatalities, the game is just so bland.

@championofgods There are plenty of ways to get around a hadoken. Unlike mk (whos combos suck btw) you can't just air juggle your way to victory. Even the fatalites seem wack to me. I find mk to be one of the weakest fighting games. Honestly, the only REALLY good thing about it was the storyline, which blew my mind.

Tekken is the perfect juggle game with its boring bouncing system... whenever I am playing I feel like wrestling my gamepad while in MK everything seems smoth and great, and is much deeper than "juggle your way to victory"...

For me, this theme is a good example of beautiful SF2 theme that has been corrupted, depleted, crushed, killed, destructed (choose one) by SF4 remake. Guile theme is a very good example too. i'm sad because SF4 themes are mostly bad remakes or very bad compositions :/ (it's my opinion)

@freewaterfal I wouldn't necessarily say Ken is a clone. He may have almost the exact same move set as Ryu, but his play style is quite different. Ryu is more of a zoning Character, where I think Ken is more rush down than zoning.
