And do you mean, is Bud E his name in the original version? If so, then no. I haven't picked up on what it is yet, since I have zero knowledge of Croatian. As soon as I find out, I'll tell you.

@taitofan27 Bud E Bear's name is Medo Mate. Medo means bear in sort of a cute children way and Mate is a name... I thing he is suposed to resembel Ličani. That is folk from Lika - wich is a long way from civilisation twigliht zone place (in stereotype, of course ;) where bears are as comonplace as cats and dogs. Not true really but the joke's on them! :)

I sneaked of the croation wikipedia site and looked up the movie there. The word Medvjed was linked to a bear so I figured Mate must be Bud.E
