i see a exact kopie of suigino sensei. al is the same, the kiai, the speed, even the funny tension in the neck is the same. this is okay fore a while. but a student must find his own "voice". then, and only then he can become a grandmaster. nowadays i see to many sensei imitations. these studends are young and strong, yet theye perform as an old man. this is not good. on this movie you where also young.i hope that you did find youre own "voice". namaste
This is the 6 basic bojutsu kata taught in Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryu. Serai no bo, sune Hishigi no Bo, Sayu no Bo, Tatanami no Bo, kasa hazushi no bo... and I can't remember the name of the last one.
What I find particularly intriguing is the bowing before and after the kata. It is completely different from what is taught in Sugino-ha now. At present it is more similar to kendo reishiki than what I see in this video.

Seems like the bokken is shorter than normal and the jo is longer than normal.
