so in the start you had to go to the far right

I think the 'short route' was the middle bottom tunnel. The right tunnel eventually lead back to the left one. Not sure.

I loved this game when I was little. The world is huge and has something mysterious to it. Maze/exploration games are fun. Definitely worth playing.
Winking skulls? XD It cracks me up every time I see one.
