It was writen that Duke saved Anna for she would pick him, really do ya think Robert jumps off a train with a bomb on it before he knows Anna is clear first what kind garbage really is this anyway! Robert didnt even want her on the train he pushed her down to start with yet he jumps without her please he would of made her jump first!
Duke's hard head ended up saving Anna on that train. Good thing he didn't listen to any of em, can't finish they own missions without messing some jawn up every time.
Duke won't accept the fact that he doesn't have any training for this mission. Does it occur to him that his inexperience could end up getting someone killed. Potentially Anna!
Nah, he's way too hard-headed and brash to consider those possibilities. He's a funny contrast to Robert. They're both so freakin' stubborn, but while Robert stays cool (or at least gives the pretense of it) Duke wears his heart on his sleeve. He would be the worst spy, in the history of spies, ever. But I can see why Anna would have gone for him- he tells her straight that he loves her. Robert never was too good at that (before 1991 that is). LOL
I was thinking about the similarities between Duke and Robert. Both hard-headed, both arrogant, neither will let Anna get away with anything. But yeah, Duke is like a lost little puppy dog chasing her around, while Robert is like a golden retriever allowing her to help him pounce on the danger. Robert was never much good at saying his feelings to anyone he was involved with was he?
"A golden retriever" heehee, that's wonderfully apt... I think:) No, he sure wasn't good at expressing his feelings, that's what made it so glorious when he and Anna got back together- she pushed him in a direction he was scared to go- opening up to her. He showed vulnerabilities that GH had previously only touched on.
Oh my gosh Duke is so annoying! I just want to smack him! :) Stop it Duke! Anna knows what she is doing!
