They dont make em like they use to. It always breaks and will not be good for war. We had to tow them 20 miles off the coast cause their engine was so messed up they could only do 2 knots. Sad

Observing this new class of ship,(LCS) and what this means as far power projection,and the things it can do, well one can start to feel sorry for those sad pirates, who are going to face this,(sea - terminator) vessel one day at sea. - "kiss your ass's good-bye"

I wonder if the US Navy would be interested in the StanFlex system. Containerized weapons and aux systems seems to be just the thing for these kind of ships.
The development of LCS has to do with small subs that N.Korea, China, and others have. They like to hide out in the shallows and pop out and sink a carrier. It also has to do with pursuit of pirates like the one's off of Somalia that can hide out in shallow waters where no destroyer can go. We will need many of these for future ops worldwide. Also great for deploying special ops personnel.
