I would love to see a Supra try to beat this time good luck LOL. Import fans would spend all the money trying to boost the hell out of the motor and they still would not be able to beat a car like this.
@jrdragracer1740 not when the car instantly accelerates to 100 in like one second, the acceleration is alot faster then a car that runs the same time at lower off the line acceleration.
The titan motorsports car is fast but tim lynch could run with it. Btw for the people bashing v8's you obviously have never heard of guys like jason scrugg he went 3.90's like 3yrs ago and has gone 3.70's and was the 1st person to go 200mph in the 1/8 so in a sense these titan guys are playin catchup still yet.
@Jandor86 During this run, Tim was making an 1/8th mile pass. We didn't know that the 1/4 mile clocks were on, so he let off at the 1/8th. In the 1/4, Tim has gone 6.26@232mph, which stands as the current Outlaw 10.5 World Record. the video is @ youtube.com/watch?v=SJ-KexbpQBA Thanks for commenting.
Nice work with this car... I don't think any 10.5 car has the suspension So perfectly dialed in, tremendous job there IMO. Oh yeah, and your HorsePower isn't too bad either
Leave it to a supra fanboy to bring up the titan supra. That's their biggest trump card and it runs as fast as a TT v8 that weighs 1000 lbs more. lmao
@brocki0880 You are comparing a 3100lb. Outlaw 10.5 car to a Extreme 10.5 car that comes in at a little over 2000lbs...dumbass!!! If you want to compare apples to apples, Dan Millen just went 3.85 in the 1/8th in his "ain't worth dog shit" v8. BTW, Tim & Steve are good friends with Bottle and Nero.
@prolineraceengines Ya and then you have spiro pappas, chuck ulsch and some others who have gon faster than gary white and titan motorsports with their aint worth dog shit v8s.
@brocki0880 if v 8's aint worth shit, then why is the nhra slowing down the top fuel dragsters and funny cars, traction is what limits their e.t.'s, where are your imports, nopi let the domestics start running in their events and guess what, the domestics quickly dominated just about everything babay oops! damned ebonics urban inner city vocabulary .
@brocki0880 you do realize on that pass he lifted after 1/8th mile and coasted though @ 6.77. the fastest titan motorsports car only goes 6.40s on an all out balls to the wall. stay on your import forums keyboard warrior.
@brocki0880 lol, and just look at how long it took them to get there jackass. if they didn't restrict the v8's like they did your pussy ass import guy's would cry foul.
@brocki0880 dude i love imports as much as the next guy, but when it comes to drag racing, Americans are king, WE love speed and like it as soon as we step on the pedal, the thing about dog shit V8s is the emence amount of torque, even small 289s produce just as much torque as they do HP if not more. a 460 is all torque, imports cant do that, a 2jz-gte hardly breas 320 with TTs and skylines too with 10lbs. a blown 5.4 V8 has 550, and a blown 6.2 has over 600 at a mere 8-10lbs. do the math idiot
@BYCURE213 Sure the TT V8s are cool and I love em too but the TT V8s are not even close to the hp/ci of the good jap motors, I run STREET engines on petrol that make 6.5hp/ci, a streetable 500in TTV8 aint getting anywhere near 3250hp on petrol man, so maybe you could do some math.
The only reason the V8s are doing it is from sheer cubes, not efficiency or real high end performance.
@RIPSNZ who cares bout that? we speek SPEED! it all comes down to this, would you rather a 500HP 4cyl or a 500HP, fully stock V8? put it this way, who gets down the strip faster, a 2L I4 pushin 700hp(max), or a 900HP, 5L V8(conservative tune)? whens the last time you saw a 2500HP I4? dont get me wrong i love imports, hell i have an EG and proud but an F22/4sgte/13B/F4 boxer/evo engine is never gonna put down those numbers, like a v8 can also whens the last time you saw a 6 second japanese car?
@BYCURE213 I run 7.2s on the 1/4 with my 182 ci on petrol, not too bad I'd say??
No dought the V8s are quicker but only due to have ALOT more cubes. Get the jap technology in 500 + cubic inches and the american 2 valve motors wouldn't get a look in. PS. there's quite a few 6 second jappas, in fact a friend here runs 6.40s @ 224mph in a door car with less than 200ci, you HAVE to respect that.
@RIPSNZ theres alot mor than just 16 valves now, ford mainly runs 32 valves now. i congradulate you but i always felt a V8 will be more reliable. especially when powered up. and i do respect all cars that have been modded to be faster than stock. but i may be wrong, but in all reality, its all about personal prefference. if im gonn adrag race, i will go with a V8, if im gonna corner, a light nimble car, and if i would drift, well lets just say ill do it with anything thats RWD lol
@RIPSNZ also remember nissan and toyota have V8s, the tundra and Titan, and even they arent all that powerful. V8s arent so much about power as they are about torque, especilly big blocks
@BYCURE213 For sure, each to their own I just think alot of V8 guys (not yourself) don't really realise just how good the jap stuff can be especially for their size. 2000+hp from under 200ci with straight 6s is common place now and even my 182ci 6cyl on petrol 60fts and 330s quicker than the same chassis did with a 500in blown alky big block (same weight too) we just lose out from 1/2 track due to the huge top end the turbo wants to make and we have traction issues the blown V8 didnt have.
@BYCURE213 the nissan and toyotas are still only 4 to 5.6 liters and I'm sure once suitable time is spent on them big numbers will be there, just look at the VQ38 nissan V6, 2500+hp from them reliably is pretty common now, I'd just love to see a full on jap technology 500inch TT V8, the potential would be incredible.
@BYCURE213 You are right, no question about it because thats all thats been at the top end of the sport so far, keep in mind even these "big power" V8s (other than top fuel) arn't really making "that" much hp/ci compared to some pretty basic jap motors, 7-8hp/ci on petrol is not uncommon from 180-200ci and yet even the best top alcohol V8s are only around those numbers so it shows how good they really are. In the mean time, I am also very impressed with the big american TT v8s. take it easy.
@BYCURE213 Yeah, click my user name and there's vids of my 7.8 second 240z and the 7.2 sec FED, both with water cooled full streetable 182ci 6 cylinders running on petrol.
@carrick166 yep I'm aware of that and extreemly impressed, trust me. My only point was, for the size of the engine, per cubic inch, these big turbo 2 valve V8s are still making quite conservative hp per cubic inch compared to what is very easy and reliable with a jap 4 valve. I run a fully water cooled street motor on petrol at 7-8hp per cubic inch (low 7s on the 1/4 with 182 cubic inch) and a friend is up around 11hp per cubic inch on alcohol (low 6s 225+mph on the 1/4 with 220cubic inch)
@carrick166 Isn't tims engine 600ci+? if its say 600cubic inch and 4000hp thats still less hp/ci inch than my streetable engine on petrol. Anyway, don't get me wrong, I LOVE these big turbo V8s, I'd just love to see a real modern spec 4 valve V8 with a decent amount of cubes, would be incredible what could be done I'm sure.
@RIPSNZ nelson racing engines Reviloution small block 500Ci.billet C&C milled block quad OHC 4 valve per Cl. 9500RPM redline super duty ribed block cross bolted mains... he don't have them priced yet on his webpage but he is saying 2500Hp no problem but the sound of it will be somthing to hear for shure
@sirlonghair yes I have been following that and have seen the bottom end build up, great to see him using modern technology in a big cube motor, should be awesome.

@brocki0880 that is funny... Gary White and Tim Lynch run at the same track a lot... you REALLY think White wants to line any car in their flock up against this? lol... even Gary would laugh at that
