The song "Kya kya kahoon re kanha" is from PIYA MILAN with music by Roshan. I am not sure if this movie was ever released. But this song by P. Susheela is a wonderful song.
Great composition, indeed memorable. Ages since I heard it last. Thanks dipiaar ji. One of my favorite Mubarak Begum number is from Dilip's Devdas, "Wo na aayenge palat kar, jinhe lakh hum blaaye". With Bimal Roy as director, it rrulyt became immortal in memory.
c. arjun got less chance in bollywood but what he did is best. sushila, mai aur mera bhai, chetana, jai santoshi maa are some of the examples. no doubt, this one is one of the best film he scored music for.
Beautiful Asha ghazal. Shows again that the range of musical categories in which she could perform with superb effect was limitless. Thanks for the upload.
Here is an xample of some genius MDs who can extract the VERY BEST from singers.

Punar Milan has a beautiful Rafi solo, " Paas Baitho Tabiyat behel jayeegi".

AHHHH !!! yes thanks for reminding me of this fantastic song.
When Rafi sings I feel the exact same sentiments----I feel like
""Maut bhi aa rahi ho to tal jayegi""

You are welcome... I know the feeling...No one can come close to Rafi

Mubarak Begum articulates lyrics with
distinction, for the benefit of discerning listeners who fully appreciate perfection,
combined with a polished vocalization,
that is her very own unique ' hallmark .'
Share this beautiful duet with lovers of
ghazals, and tell everyone, you have heard the exquisite voice of a Legend for
all time.... Mubarak Begum.....
