  • @JellyfishArtDotCom

You mean you can ship then abroad :O!! Do you ship to the Caribbean? Namely Trinidad

  • I just purchased one of your desktop tanks this morning! I'm very excited about it! Does the jellyfish eat the feeder fish or do they just kill them?

  • @NickiisLipsSinkShips they eat them, only humans and a few other animals kill for sport

  • Do you have to use the tanks you sell? Or can one use an ordinary tank? Thanks

  • @catholicarchangel Jellyfish need special tanks made specifically for jellyfish so they don't get stuck in corners or sucked into filtration intakes.

  • @JellyfishArtDotCom ya who wouldnt buy jellyfish and torture them, those piece of useless animal that go around and sting people, mind thier own god damn business.

  • @samsing900 No Animal Is useless, if it were, it wouldnt exist. If you dont want to get stung, dont go swimming, its not your territory its theirs, so prepare for the risks. Plus I find jellyfish to be incredible creatures, even if I got stung over five times now.

  • @OCTI876 dont let me see them at beach, or ill use my saw off shotgun to greet them ;!

  • @samsing900 As OCTI876 said, it is not your territory, it is theirs. Also, they don't go around looking to sting humans, just as sharks don't go out planning to eat one. It is their defense mechanism, however, the shark is just a mess up in identification.

  • @catholicarchangel like jellyfishart said, you need specail tanks, you can make your own but unless youve had experience keeping jelly fish and want a diferent type of tank its better to by one of the types they sell, they dont have the brand name of biorb and the mark ups of petco and petsmart and other places, over all the tank itself is more conveinent and cheaper.

  • Thats a funny way to eat a fish. its as if the jelly fish is saying OM NOM NOM NOM

  • I knew they where evil!!!! My parents said they wouldn't hurt me, liars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its raping it

  • I read you say it was just an experiment to see, however do jellyfish of that type eat small fish in the wild? this is very interesting

  • @BlueSta1n It is very rare for a small fish to come close enough to those jellyfish to get eaten in the wild. For this video, we placed the fish right next to the jellyfish. Also, the jellyfish was unable to digest most of the fish. It "spit" it back out after a few hours.

  • hey mate iv been all round your website and I'm after a small tank with a couple of jellies for my room... how much would I be looking at in total set-up costs do you think? also I understand that they require quite allot of time and effort... so do you think they are worth it?

  • @bjay117 You're going to want the Desktop Tank and Starter Kit for $249 on our website JellyfishArt [dot] com. All you have to do is add water and plug it in. Then come back to our website to order Two-Inch Moon Jellyfish. They are actually easier to maintain than most salt water fish because they're tolerant of sub-optimal water conditions, but they must be fed often. Yes they are worth it! How many people do you know with a jellyfish tank?

  • @JellyfishArtDotCom haha so true! OK so where are you guys shipping from? is there like insurance on shipping just in case they rock up dead? and how big is the tank... I couldn't see any dimensions (but I could be wrong)? also is there anything I should be wary off when looking after these guys so I don't kill em? like light, over feeding, or each other?

thanks for all your help in advance Benji :D

  • @bjay117 We ship from San Francisco. We have an Arrive Alive policy that guarantees the jellies will arrive alive and stay alive for 48 hours or we replace them for free. The tank is 7 gallons. We have full instructions for maintenance and care on our website Jellyfishart [dot] com.

  • @alex12345196 when signing up to order it says select a country from the drop down list... but there is only one (USA) hahaha am I missing something or do you guys only ship within America? and if that's the case your website is a tad misleading and gives the impression that you ship to other countries... :)

    I'm in Australia btw :D

  • @bjay117 Yes that's true, we can ship tanks to international locations easily but there are heavy fees associated with shipping live animals across international borders. Go to the Knowledge Base section of our website and search for "international" to see our policy on international shipments. I'm sorry you thought we could ship to you in Australia. How did you get that impression?

  • How much do the Blue Jellies cost and how big do they get?

  • @TodayHi1953 We no longer offer Blue Jellies. Instead we offer Moon Jellyfish for the Desktop Jellyfish Tank. These are $39 apiece.

  • Are they moon jellyfish?

  • @TodayHi1953 No, these are a species of small cold water jellyfish.

  • lol

  • this jellyfish is a freshwater jellyfish

  • omgg these are so cool i want one what do they eat just fish?? please write back!

  • Normally they eat a special Frozen Jellyfish Food. This was just an experiment to try feeding them a small fish.

  • do they sting?

  • This species does not sting people, but its venom obviously has a rapid effect on small fish. The pet jellyfish we sell online do not sting.

  • how big do they get? and do they glow with a black light

  • how did it go ?

  • how does it digest the fish?

  • After catching the fish, it just digested its eyes then spat it back out

  • then what?,lol

  • wow

  • Whats This Jellyfish Called Jellyfishartdotcom

  • It's a species related to Polyorchis sp.

  • OM NOM NOM NOM NOM

  • @koolaidman007

Hahaha! i just read your comment and watch video again and understood what you meant, and when i saw them suck of fish i started to crack up. :D

  • oh dude those things are trippy to watch XD

    they look like metroids!

  • DUDE i was thinking the exact same thing.

they do look like metroid lol

  • @foxfire945 haha i was thinking the same thing!

  • The fish is slowly moved up the tentacles to the mouth that hangs in the middle of the jelly. The fish is then enveloped and digested in the gut of the jellyfish.

  • its a moon jellyfish???

  • Those Are Clinging Jellies Aka Gonionemus Vertens Jellyfish

  • what happens after its inside? it just dissolves?

  • The Jellies Are The Family Of The Medusaes

  • they look like metroids...(god i'm a nerd)

  • That is so creepy. Jellyfish are marvels of nature though.
