Every time I come across a distrurbing video on you tube, there is someone defending defense attorneys as if they didn't have a choice. The last time I checked, you were able to choose your own degree plan and therefore career path. These people know good and well what their job is going to intell. So you have to ask yourself what kind of person would want to knowingly defend and possibly free monsters!

Dude. You get out of law school, you get a job with a firm, and you do whatever your boss/clients tell you to do. I know of a similar case, where the mother went to work and left her twins in their stepfather's care, he nearly killed them both but got off VERY easy with barely a year in jail, the mother got a year and a half in prison and 7 years probation for neglect. She had no clue that he would hurt the kids, but because she couldn't afford a lawyer, they blamed her for the whole deal. His mommy and daddy bailed him out and paid for his counsel. real fair huh?

@TheDharmawheel I'm not sure if this man has a private or public lawyer, but although private lawyers can choose clients, public defenders are assigned. It's his legal right to have representation and if he can't affford one then one gets assigned to him. This means that someone has to represent this man in court as it is his legal right to have representation. That doesn't mean that the lawyer has to agree with him, but the lawyer must do the job to defend him.

When (and IF) you ever hold your newborn child in your arms and they look up at you and you can tell they recongnize you are their mom or dad, and when they laugh and smile at you for the first time, you'll see it.
