This concept is idiotic and illogical. A lock mechanism is mechanically designed to be opened with a key, not air pressure. Air pressure cannot unlock a lock. Air pressure will not ever unlock a door.

the tennis ball cant unlock a car door because the inner door frame has many holes in it, not to mention that the lock is being held by a solid metal rod, not anything that could hold pressure. so by all means i think you are better off with the freakin bowling ball. the fact that the door wont hold pressure is common sense!!

I am a mechanic and I knew this was bullshit all along...how could a lock solenoid work on air pressure? Dont try it, all you will end up with is a dented door panel when you slam the shit out of it in frustration. Get yourself a magnetic "hide a key" and stick it under the fender or on the chassis if you are a klutz that loses or locks your keys in the car.
