ta so much for all the colour. i'm a colourist fine artist and ppl underestimate the effects of colour on them in life generally. EVERYTHING is about light, which in turn is about colour... their wavelengths within the visible spectrum, then therez invisible light etc... anyway you know all this, but i use colour in therapy work etc... once ppl are shown what colours are doing to them, they see the world differently - they WAKE UP! itz so interesting to watch and learn about a person thru colour

That's crazy. The warm colors seem to bring out the skin of the subjects as they would be perceived in life. Then the blue seems to focus on like an internal luminescence, like a person's spirit perhaps? I wonder if he did this intentionally. Alex Grey never ceases to amaze me.

I on the other hand did perceive big changes in some of the works, like Overself. There were parts where the eyes seemed to all open up, or where the figure became more or less real as it faded, reappeared, etc. Not only were the changes visible, they all seemed to be of a spiritual nature (of course, in work like this, right?)
