Actually, Zaros tripped onto the staff. It was a major mistake but Zaros then launched himself into Zamorak, impaling them both, causing Zaros' powers to flow into Zamorak, who then sent Zaros to another plane of existance.

In terms of difficulty, Nomad's Requiem was harder, but While Guthix Sleeps is still the most epic and deep in story plot.

Hmm, I'm actually starting to wonder, have you guys noticed that Lucien can't attack more than around 2-3 times without having to wave the staff around for another attack? I think he might not be as powerful as we all think, he might need to like charge each attack with power, maybe during a new quest giving us enough time to defeat him. I mean, he does take forever to gain energy again, and he does leave himself open for attack. I think it might be like spirit of summer, dodging the attacks.

Another interesting point I'd like to raise - why didn't they just ask for Azzanadra's help, along with some powerful members of the Wizard's Tower and Wizard's Guild, in binding Lucien's power into diamonds of smoke, shadow, blood and ice, like they did with Azzanadra? They could've just imprisoned him and entrusted each diamond into the care of an elite group of warriors and Lucien is trapped. Just leave him there for a few millenia so he misses the rejuvenation rituals and dies.

After all, Azzanadra did SINGLE-HANDEDLY defeat Thammaron's great army, after the destruction of the Great City of Uzer. Since Azzanadra has been described to have god-like abilities I think he could easily defeat Lucien. Lucien is powerful, but not even comparable to that of a god, while on the other hand Azzanadra is. Remember, Azzanadra IS Zaros' GREAT CHAMPION, while Lucien couldnt even be that

then zaros will end up being the good one, this already has been suggested by mod james, the creator of desert treasure. also saradomin has alot of signs that theyre actualy evil:

the relic stolen in devious minds is actualy from zaros, the wise old man who follows sara is a bad guy too, only being a hero for rewards, and of course sara, even when they are good ones, use violence and war in their faith. im prety sure sara will end up to be the evil ones.

and like this the storyline will end

rsmovielord, you have to remember; Saradomin isn't the god of good and peace, he is the god of ORDER and WISDOM. Just like how Guthix isn't the god of good or bad but the god of balance. And the Wise Old Man isn't evil just because he does quests for rewards, that's just selfishness not being evil. Also, the Dragonkin won't help Lucien, they're whimps, they are immortal, but they can't reproduce so they fear death. Zamorak isn't even on Gielinor plane anymore so he can't be attacked by Lucien.

@miehrano Well, seeing as I was only level 100 when i killed dragons for money, and I killed THOUSANDS of dragons...I'd rather have a level 180 that's above my level. I mean, I made millions off dragons and i was only lvl 100...I bet those 180's could do more damage. And didn't you know the 180's do like 70 damage? That's 700 life points. 1 hit kill gf dragons.

@DrlchknJr hmm... yeah, but i was wrong.. i think. yeah, they would be bether in war, but they controll dragons. so i think they are the only one that can ride the dragon in war... so with a (f.ek) mithril dragon able to KO most players that dont hvae anti-dragonfire shield... and the dragonkin on the back with what seems like fire surge in the cutcene in a tail of two cats would do great damage in a battle... yeah.

since this quest was like the sequel to almost all running questlines im pretty sure the next will be too

lucien will try to become a god using the staff and the stone, but he will need allies like zammy had when overthrowing zaros, rite? thats why they show the dragonkin at the end of the quest: lucien is going to free them in return for their help in overthrowing zamorak. but before this will happen zaros will interfere who is being freed by azzanadra (the temple at senntisten storyline)

Don't worry, your not stupid ^_^. Cyrisus is from the quest "Dream Mentor". He has 99 in EVERY stat. He is an NPC, so don't try to look him up :p. He is just a beast. He's awesome ;)
