wait, you changed that much in 27 days? I had a bell like urs when i started too and its been 2 weeks and i can tell alot its going down but damn if you lost all that in 27 day i ive you props
Thanks for this video, it is really neat to see that demonstrated...! I am saving it to my favorites playlist. It really underscores my desire to not really weigh every darn day, or at least not to depend on it until every few days. Sometime, I would like to shuck the scale and go by my clothes! Still workin' on that tho....
This is the reason I suggest only weighing at the same time each day. Otherwise, there is no way to compare results. Combine that with tape measurements to get an semi-accurate BF %, and you should see rather cheaply what direction your body is heading.
Mine is going well. I am still 5 pounds over goal, but like I have been focusing much more on core and resistance training than purely weight loss. I also really haven't started my marathon training season -- I am only running 20-25 miles per week with no runs longer than 7 miles. When mid February rolls around, I will start adding the 10-20 mile runs on the weekend.
Until then, it is abs often (slightly tamer AbRipperX workout) and building my pushups back up to a respectable level. LOL
I love that you are a real person doing real things. I am so sick of hearing of these fad diets beyonce or some other celebrity use...
I agree, i dislike traditional scales. I measure my success with how well i am sticking to my healthy habits... Which, this week, aren't so great as i am so busy with midterms, speech prep, AKPsi this n that not to mention a huge deadline. Yeah, i'm finally taking my lunch break and it is 3.45, not sticking to my meal times too well.
You are so right. My friend Colin (he just lost about 40 Lbs and got really cut) told me if I didn't do P90X I was wasting my time, lol. So now I have to do it.
I love this vid...I struggle so much to just get on the scale. It terrifies me. 2 lbs up and I can ruin my day. I finally had to buy a doctors scale so I couldn't throw it across the room :) You look amazing! Congratulations on your success!!
LOVE this video!! Dropping the fat is more important to me than dropping the numbers on a scale. Dexa scans are the best indicator (I think) to how your body is actually losing the fat and gaining muscle. GREAT job, Sean :-)
your tatoos are on different arms...is that right?

Great video Sean! People worry too much with weight fluctuation. MY concept is if I don't lose or gain more then a 1lbs I'm ok.
I love the before and after photos. When didi you take the before pictures? It's a great transformation. That's what I want to do. Congrats again!
Cheers,
Mari

What a nice video wow !!!!! I wish I had a way of measuring my body fat right now. How do you measure it ?
poeticrevenge 3 years ago 2
I use the DEXA scan... at a hospital .. or you can use a scale with the body fat
