I havent seen this movie since I was a little kid. I remember crying my little eyes out when Mufasa died. I just saw it on disney last night, and promised myself I wouldnt cry in front of my 3 year old niece....I made it all the way to the part where the baby giraffe walked into the sunlight before memories from my childhood started rushing through my mind. Its sad when a 3 year old can last through this movie longer than you can :/

I cant believe I was sitting in a small theater with my family one day watching this in the early 90's...it stuck with me for so long that I demanded that we get the soundtrack from Toys R' Us lol (1st soundtrack I ever got)...so nostalgic that I couldn't resist seeing it again last week. The 3D was alright, and on a MUCH bigger screen since now we got stadium seating...it still doesn't compare to seeing it with my family for the 1st time.
