Mike was a tough wrestler from a great wrestling family. In HS, he placed 3rd, 2nd, and 4th in the states. In college, he made the division 3 finals 4x (winning it his final year) and decisioned me twice - something like 7-3 or 7-4 both times.
As for jumping around, I guess that was his thing. I was the type that would just walk on the mat and possibly get into my crouching position (which I believe I did before the state final match). Everyone is different.
Mike is better then this, props to the kid that beat him.
Mike's done pretty good for himself though, 3 time All American at Trenton State and one 1 or 2 Div. 3 titles. He's now the CEO of Supplemental Healthcare.
Jacoutot had an entitlement problem, he thought because he had been to state previously he'd just walk out and be given his state championship against this guy Billitz, Jacoutot > dancing around before the match, BUT those of us who KNEW Rich Billitz, > freak of nature, skinny but amazingly strong, lighting quick, 4 X district champ but he always choked at regionals, Rich should have been a 2 -3 time state champ, Billitz at his best, Jacoutot nor anyone else in NJ had a chance.
throwing it out there who was coaching you? it doesn't say in the video.

The New Providence coaching staff consisted of Phil Esposito (varsity), Bob Auble (jv), and Vic Bucossi (freshman).
As a side note, Bob Auble is Dave Auble's younger brother. Dave was a 2x NCAA champ and 2x Olympian.
