He walks out of the house and gets hit by the truck - and all through the video they show the girl upset because Ne-Yo 'died' and they didn't get a chance to make up. Ne-Yo is basically a ghost in the video, she can't see that he's there with her.

Okay this is what I think the story is. In " Part of the List" him and his ex meet in a foregin place, and decide to see each other one last time before ne-yo and his current gf go back to the states. In "Mad" his girfriend confronts him about the text that he recieves in the first video. They get into an argument, and Ne-yo who tries to save the kid in the Mad video, winds up dying. Its really good story and I hope you understand now
