I love it when Idiots call me names. If you will look... you will see that the "ocean" is below the level of the tanks, DUMBASS! There is what appears to be a circulation pump at the ONE water inlet/outlet. And for your information, just allowing the tides to flood the tanks twice a day would not allow enough circulation to remove the prawn shit and the tanks would quickly foul.

This shows how educated people can be so educated that they get stupid. A freaking 2-D drawing would have been sufficient. How deep is the water? How long for a complete water change? PVC pipe water supply would be less expensive and allow for another pond. Concrete ditches are more expensive so why use them? If the project is too expensive, you cannot find investors to build it.

Read the book by Taras Grescoe called " Bottomfeeder" and you would never eat a farmed prawn again. It is the most distasteful of all farmed methods, even worse than battery chickens and farmed salmon.

Of course, Taras Grescoe is a world famous expert on aquaculture and fishery. He wrote 1 book on it and his 3 other books are on tourism and travel. I do agree that shrimp culture should be better regulated though.

Title should have been....PROPOSED PRAWN FARM IF  I HAD UNLIMITED CAPITOL.

I expected to see some REALISTIC information about prawn farming.
