I love witty railways staff! I was on a train in Belfast once and the Driver came on to the PA system and said "Ladies and Gentlemen, good morning, this is your driver. On Behalf of Northern Ireland railways I'd like to apologise for our conductor's apalling hairstyle this morning!"

the doors were shutting and he gave the driver the bells to go. used to work as a guard around 4 years ago. great bunch of workmates but swt are awful to work for. they never ever back there staff up. travel around places like feltham and ashford and deal with the right yobs. funny thing is alot of guards are ex army so these little twits have no idea they could be chopped down in a instant. swt never back there guards though. they cant be arsed.

I was informative, corrected various spelling mistakes, and stated a fact about SWT management, ergo: they don't like people ad-libbing, they like people to say what they tell people to say, they can be arsey about staff thinking for themselves. Here we go again... "theyr...caled..." As for NXEA, I've no idea what that is. Well whatever, they shouldn't be called conductors when they're guards... (as in Guard's compartment, rule book notes etc.) or is that Stagecoach trying to turn SWT into a bus company?

@fraizingher You are correct in saying he is a Guard. In fact, he's a Commercial Guard as he does tickets (Non-commercial Guards, don't). All SWT trains have to run with a Commercial or Non-commercial Guard, and this one in the video is still going strong, and still amusing the passengers!
