This opening seemse a little sucicidal. Gas first is really risky as terran not to mention you don't benefit that much. Consider that to build a gas before a rax you are cutting off roughly 5% of your mineral income. Delaying your rax and orbital not too mention raxless fast expands give better results.

Get an overseer near his base (out of sight range of course) and drop changelings in his base to scout what he has exactly. An extra queen early on can be used to spread creep and as extra antiair. Either build at least 8 to 10 infestors if you want to chainfungal a Prot deathball or drop a bunch of infested terrans in Ter siegeline.

You have to negate the quality advantage of the opponents units if you play Zerg, to get a good ambush in open creep space.

i'm 11, but my strategy resolves around the Quick expand, and then a five gate, Usually on Lost Temple. (3 in the base, 2 blocking my choke) Stalkers really kick Colossi ass, but i'm always getting owned by the other player always have more units, untill recently. your dailys have reallyed helped. why did he put trumpets in? why did u put that song in this video? and also my strat is fully upgrade zealots tech up 2 charge then build as many warp gates as i can, then i stockpile minerals and eventally attack withh all my guys (even probes) when they all die i warp in 100 more and keep attacking the first wave generally kills all of their buildings even if they have voids / carriers / collosus as the fully upgraded zealots have so much armour shields and damage

Here are the physical notes (on a piece of paper) I made when I first watched this daily (from a Terran point of view): Good vs Collossus: Marauder Stim Emp U need space, no chokes for example: attack from 2 sides positioning!!!!!! When watching a replay u lost ask: -does my strategy have a huge leak eg am I not making enough units? -Am I making the right units + upgrades against the problem enemy unit eg vikings marauders -Do not overprepare for 1 thing coz u'll be screwed if it doesnt happen

wat more do you want the observer to do? its name pretty much explains itself, being a flyer nd invisible it was designed to scout nd detect nd it does its job very well. probe maybe cheap however if ur a careful player u can keep the observer 4 a long time which u can continously scout ur opponent, knowin when there'll be an attack. only way for them to kill ur observer that if they invest in a scan or detector or sum sort which then it'll be even, not to mention u still get to scout the base..

@Sookieelicious I don't think he's asking the observer to do more, and i don't think day9 was saying that the observer doesn't have any use. I see his main point being that he should have used that time to build another Immortal instead of an observer that is doing basically the same job a probe can do, and obviously he already has an abudance of probes out, so he could send it a lot quicker.

@EGRGamers I'm definitely no pro, so take my advice with a grain of salt, but I've figured, you want to use stim when you feel that the threat in front of you (like a collusus) can potentially do more damage than the 10 hp that stimpack takes.

Or, think of it like, "if I can kill this collosus right now, using stim, I will lose 100 hp (let's say you have 10 marines) but if I don't use stim, that 1 collisus may kill all 10 marines (450 hp).

Does that kind of help?
