Why people keep snakes is beyond me, those rats would make far better pets than your snake. Rats are affectionate, social, adorable creatures that have such a bad reputation. Live feed rats have been known to injure or even kill snakes before, so if you're going to feed them to your snake, please at least kill them first using the quickest, most humane method possible. I own 4 rats so I know how lovely as pets they are.

Also, if you handle the babies while they're in the pinky stage, they will be friendlier towards you as adults (i.e. less biting. :) )

This is by far the most humane rat breeding setup I've seen.
The grow-out tub still has too many rats for the size, but it's not nearly as bad as some of the others.
