Kristen Stewart was phenomenal in Speak. I loved the book, and the movie was good too. That's the only other movie I've seen with her in it and she was amazing in Speak. But it was the movies that made me hate Twilight the books, because I could see how stupid the story was. If it wasn't a movie I'd still be a fan. Not a Twihard but a fan.

From what I've seen from Twilight, she tends to bites her lip a lot and it's annoying very habit to see bc she does it everytime she's around Edward. It seems like she's sexually fustrated around him and wants to do him very badly.... My friend who watched new moon saw it a lot too. I don't know whose shes biting her lip to during those times, but whatever... XD Now I'm thinking about Romeo and Juliet where at the beginning, it starts with the 2 guys "Do you bite your thumb at me sir?".

I think a lot of talent was wasted in this movie. Catherine Hardwicke made good movies in the past. Her and Nikki Reed (The girl who played Rosalie) made Thirteen and that movie was brilliant. Robert Pattinson was great in Harry Potter and Kristen's performance in Speak wasn't comparable to Twilight. Yet people spam HP/Thirteen/Speak boards with how Twilight is so much better.

Talent was wasted in this movie and it was below many of them. And it's a crying shame.

Adventureland made me respect Kristen Stewart as an actor. She did ridiculously well in it, and if you haven't already seen it I recommend it. ;D But I truly do think that all the actor are in cahoots together, their goal is to make the movies as horrible, dull, and cardboard stiff as possible. And I'm proud to say they're succeeding. :]

Rob was terrible too, but Edward has less personality than Bella. Not being able to connect to the character is the actor's fault. If you can't connect to the character, you shouldn't be playing it.

I totally agree when you said that not everyone would like or be satisfied with anyone playing Bella in any way, because they see themselves as Bella. So for one person it won't be enough this or that but for another it would be too much or it would too different. Bella as a character as you said is too ambigious that there is no right way of portraying her. It's not Kristen's fault and even if they changed actresses it still wouldn't have worked and it still wouldn't be that actress's fault.

I was complaining because of the comic books movies deviating from the book so much. In ways that I didn't know or expect going in.

Spiderman movies were good..until the 3rd one where they put in Gwen Stacey in it.

I went to see it for venom and I didn't know how they were going to work the plot. So I wasn't going in thinking negative of it.

Fantastic Four, I saw the 1st one hated...so I waited till the 2nd came out on cable to watch it.

Kristen Stewart can't act. Her performance in Speak was exactly like Twilight, so don't blame it on the script or Stephenie Meyer. None of the actors knew what they were getting into when they tried out, but at least they pretend to like the books. Take Taylor Lautner for example, no way a normal 17 year old boy would be caught dead reading Twilight but he puts on the show to keep fans happy. I think, well everyone probably, that Meyer wrote Bella so empty that it would be easy for anyone to picture themselves as the character. They aren't satisfied with KS for playing Bella, but you know what, kudos to her because she auditioned and snagged the role. Great paycheck, I'll say. No one really thought Robert Pattinson was "gorgeous" when he played Cedric. But now that he is Edward Cullen, everyone is so blinded by the character that he is playing to acutally like the person he is in real life. Twilight didn't make Kristen Stewart's fame/career. She was amazing in Panic Room, The Messengers, Into The Wild and so many other movies where she played a well-rounded and challenging character.
