i have an irirsh puppy he is called paddy and lots of fun but seems very simular in chracter anyone thinking of getting a dog should get an irish terrier they are great :):):)
really wow im blown away i don't come on here much to check my coments you really have an IT after watching my video? amazing lol do you have any videos or pics ?
they look like that when sleepy or worn out from play, she will soon be up and running around again, the Irish likes to doss down and relax and they are comfortable just listening to the world go by somtimes, although mayhem can soon be brought on with a play session, great dog!
I wish I could take some videos of my little Geisha but she is very hard to get since as soon as he sees the camera she 'poses' or just stares at the lens with that 'You better frame me well' look lol!
My IT has destroyed almost every toy he has except his beloved blue stuffed dog that he just cuddles :-) She is very well behaved, your dog! And gorgeous!
Dogs can be more aggressive than bitch's but she doe's kill quite a few of her toys her favourite thing to do is rip apart any empty chocalate bar wrappers or crisp packets she isnt interested in the contents just the wrapper she makes a good shredding machine lol
She's a beautiful girl. We can't give our IT any toys like that coz he destroys them. Solid rubber stuff only! Love the pups in the other vid, too. Makes me want another. :)
haha made me laugh that comment, squeakers last no time at all with my Irish, i have found large knoted rope works well and he likes to bash it about, although mine works a little and hence he takes rabbits, rats and other vermin when we are in the sticks not everyone's cup of tea i know, but see them in action very quick and effective, great home and working dog! love the pups here trying to get my breeder to let me have a bitch soon
Not keen? Mine was keen from day one, rats, rabbits even take a fox given the chance, but you have to reward early on and show interest in the prey yourself, still yours looks a real cutie!
she is a good hunter of discarded food and she eats all the damson fruit strawberrys and the fallen apples in the garden no need to hunt as food is all over but she likes chasing the neighbours cats
LOL! Fearless basterds! Mine was chassing a cow a round and trying to kill it! XD

I'm just curious. Are these rare in America? Thanks
Rushrules1974 3 years ago
i have no idea sorry but they are in the uk so i would say that it would be the same in the US which is a shame as they are a fantastic breed.

Yes, these are rare in the USA. I live in NYC and it took me a year to find my Irish Terrier.

By the way-I just wanted to add that it is due to this video that I now own an Irish Terrier. When I saw this clip, I just had to have one.
