  • not sure I see the point in bending your knees, seeing as how your calves are bearing a load all day long (walking or standing)

  • Do them on the stairs for a much harder workout.

  • careful with those ones on the platform you can end up being pretty sore if your not careful

  • can you do this without weights or no? and how many sets a day do you think is a good workout plan?

  • If you with weight is difficult, then don't use them until you reach a point where it's easy to do. Then use weight to make it more difficult.

  • For overall, standing, if you just want to work the soleus, small muscle under the calf, then seated.

  • which are better seated calf raises or standing calf raises?
