@KCBOYZ1307 Certain wind conditions can dictate they use a flap 3 and for longer runways but since its required for the PF to Override the "Auto" System to use flap 3 I would say mostly due to "certain" wind condtions, I'm sure a real world Airbus Pilot can be more elaborate
Full flap is not a safety operation with gusts because the airplane becomes more sensitive. Furthermore, gusts are changes in the speed and you can reach and pass your speed limitation. From my flight manual of an C172RG: "When landing in a strong crosswind, use the minimum flap setting required for the field lenght. Although the crab or combination method of drift correction may be used..."
Really nice! Good job from the pilot! I had a landing like this at night on a thunder storm and I couldn't stop clapping when the plane stopped and so did the others...
Fantastic landing, ashame that people don't clap anymore, especialy after a landing with wind like this. I sometimes do it but people look at me are you mad or something!
On jets, are you not suppose to have full flaps while landing with heavy winds?

@gokumalo Stupid airbuses. You would think that with only flaps three he'd be going way to fast../
