I had heard that it wasn't Codex that would be implemented but EU directive FSD 2002/46/EC.
Aparently 2002/46/EC came into full force on 31st Dec 2009.

she's got the documents, not us lol. 3 billion deaths or 100 deaths, this is a real concern not to be taken lightly! our foods (and other everyday products) are full of toxins, and more and more crops are becoming available only as GMO, and without labeling them as so! Even the "food pyramid" we are taught to eat by is wrong! And the nutrition labels also have loop holes. Trans-fats are labeled as 0% if they are under .5%.. we can easily eat a handful of .5%'s and not know it!

Genetically modified food is what she is talking about. It has been scientifically proven that GMOs, MSGs and hormone induced cattle are lacking in proper nutrients. The nutrients that these foods lack expose everyone that eats them regularly to such diseases as cancer and heart disease. She CLAIMS to have read it, and even so, her argument has little factual basis and there is a clear conflict of interest here. The codex regulates against "natural cures," which are snake oils. How about the notion that the codex was fundamentally conceived by a nazi? Baseless, with no corroborating evidence. Her assertions might be true; they might not be. I do know, however, that the Club of Rome, the Bilderberg Group, Rockefellers, and many other organizations advocate population reduction. And doing it through food makes sense.
They banned DDT in the 70's-80's despite no evidence that it was carcinogenic or deleterious to birds, and this has led to millions and millions of preventable deaths.

Take her claim that an imprisoned Nazi war criminal "went to his UN buddies" to give them an idea about the Codex Alimentarus. We have 3 problems with this statement:
1: The UN wasn't formed until after WWII. How could he have support from UN diplomats when the group did not yet exist?
2: There is NO corroborating evidence for this statement.
3: Even if there were, this is nothing but an emotional argument that a flawed source cannot bear a good idea.

This is not some loony conspiracy theorists dream work - it's real, unfortunately. A documentary called "We Become Silent" aired on TV some time ago addressing the serious threat posed from Codex. I strongly suggest you watch it here: /watch?v=Qjd7b4lHRl8 Oh, and a woman was arrested in France recently for selling 500mg of Vitamin C - because it falls above the allowable dosage stated by Codex. Things are really getting crazy out there.

Thx for sharing that info about Codex rearing its ugly head. I've heard numerous accounts accross the world of 'familiar' products bearing Codex approval.
Although I'm suspicious of 'Dr.' Rima Laibow and her devout 9/11 conspiracy theorist former General husband, I still feel that Codex is to be feared and opposed simply because no centralised body should ever dictate what we can and can't eat -particularly when those 'authorities' are financially and politically motivated.

A google search turns up nothing more credible than this video. What I'm asking for is point me to a document (which I obviously have difficulty finding) with Codex Alimentarius letterhead, or even a document on their own website that says that vitamins and nutrients a toxic poisons.
