  • he looks like he's having fun mind if i ask what rank he is in u12 or u14?

  • Simon is looking great! He has definitely improved a lot! Great footwork as always. I like how he has really developed his racquet head acceleration. Still getting very nice topspin. I see he is sticking with the O3 Tour. He is playing very well with it! I hope tournaments are still going well! Hopefully you aren't having to drive too far. I know you were saying how you don't like staying in hotels. Great work to all of you! Especially to all of Simon's hard work!! Keep it up :)

  • The forehand backswuing is shorter as opposed to 1 year. Is it correct and good?

  • You have a good eye for detail. Yes the backswing is shorter now. When he was smaller he needed a bigger take back so he could get more on the ball to get it deeper in the court - and that was fine when he was playing 10 year olds. Now that he's playing bigger kids with more powerful strokes there's not enough time to have a long stroke so the coaches have shortened it up so he's not late on ball contact. He's bigger and stronger now so he can shorten the backswing and still get the ball deep.
