We were suppose to board at 7PM we boarded at 11:30 pm sat on run way for over three hours So long we had to refuel. then the cancell NEXT flight was two days later. Tues, Reps from Delta were SOOO rude So to hell with getting back to children and going to work, Mon. at 7 AM we had to rent car drive to dayton another 200 dollars HELL we get home and they call us to tell us that flight was cancelled. DONT FLY DELTA

This airline is really stupid. It gave up DFW as a hub and is giving up CVG. what a bunch of morons who dont no where the money is. Detroit? Memphis? i dont think so
There is one statments that is true, many great airlines have come and gone and many more are on the way NWA i belive, i might be wrong though, was facing banktrupcy and then delta bought them, united is on the edge, frontier its starting a come back and this could be happening for a while
This is a great video, that's why I'm proud to be part of the "new delta" and I look forward to providing better service. Northwest was a great airline but with our merger, northwest and delta have become One Great Airline!!
great comercial. i like delta, not my favorite, but there nice. US airways needs to go out, or provide the cheapest airfair to get some people on there planes, i think NWA was going to go out, but delta bought them
@tubefube No, Delta said they we`re going to ``merge`` but does`t seemlike a merger because they destroyed my frequent flyer card! I have taken a vow to never fly Delta!
@Aircanadafreak99 Was the Frequent Flyer Card that got destroyed a North West Airline Card? If it is, I'm sorry, those programs are offered as a perk for the customer, at times of mergers, consolidation even Chapter 11 reorganization is logical to omit them! Delta is a great company, they respect their customers and their workforce, that's more that I can say of others like American Airlines, look what they did to TWA!
Frontier has had five consecutive months of operating profit, they will probably be able to make it out of bankruptcy. United is still on the brink but everyone benefitted when fuel prices dropped.
The industry does change in time. The greats have come and gone. I believe that in the next year or two, more airlines in the US will fall. I personally would have to put Frontier and US Airways at the top of the list of unstable airlines financially.
America West is a special case, though. although the new merged airline is called US Airways, it's primarily still America West, just operating under a new name.
they carry the Cactus callsign, their headquarters is in Phoenix, Doug Parker is the CEO, most of the board members are from America West Holdings Corporation, they use QIK as their reservation system (US Airways used Sabre before the merger)
there's much more but i think we all get the point lol.
isn't sabre the company that was responsible for the Valujet crash in the everglades because the didnt wrap the oxygen defussers in the cargo hold right and then that caused a fire and then it brought the plane down?
no, Sabre is a ticket and reservation system that some airlines use to do business with customers, one of the first of its type. American Airlines uses this system.
My name is Maya Little. I used to have a grandmother who hated my grandfather very much. One day while at bingo, she had a heart attack and died before she could shout bingo. Meanwhile my grandfather died on the toilet at the same time. If you do not post thison at least 6 videos your parents or grandparents will die tonight at 2:00 am
sorry i hate these things but im scared of them :O
Tell me about it. The whole TW/AA buyout was totally ridiculous for all the TW employees, but I have to say the America West/US merger was a bit better for... well... everyone.
This new DL theme is... well... one of many. They've had four rebrandings in ten years. I remember seeing the old widget next to the red stripe and the aeroflotskij logo and that was just in BOS. If anything, Delta's wasted a lot of money reprinting their AOMs (All of them) and aircraft, and replacing signs.
RIP TWA: My dad was a pilot for them since 1990, was about to become a 757/767 International Captain, but then, AA bought us, and destroyed his career. He was furloughed, and his now a JetBlue A320 F/O.... =[
The track was created specifically for the Delta commercial by a music production company called The Rumor Mill. The track is called 'Something's Wonderful'. It is not available on any commercial sites [like iTunes] as Delta is currently the sole owner of the track.
The "New Delta" comes at a steep price both Pay and benefits wise. However Richard Anderson will do quite well with his $600,000 yearly salary and an opportunity to make even more money.
I want to be a Delta Flight Attendant :D trust me. My friends say I'm the nicest guy with manners :)

@buckeye2239 Quit bitching I have read your comments on a couple videos now. Airlines can't help it when things go wrong. Blame the FAA.

I like how at :18, a shot of the "Delta" logo and typeface is shown after the dilapidated terminal.. have they come and gone?
That aside, Delta is my favorite carrier. Great domestic service, alright international service.

0:06-0:23 is Hartsfield-Jackson Int'l Airport now. The rest of the video is how United (after the merger) is going to over haul O'Hare.

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology:
(1) Why do we love flying?
(2) Why do we feel more happy and optimistic when watching airlines' TV commercial?
(3) Why does flying is an representation of culture diversity?
(4) Why do we think that aerospace service and industry are representations of leadership and "working together"?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)
