This is really nice, What frame rate do you shoot at? try 15 fps it'll be so much smoother it will look amazing. Wha software do you use?? great work btw, really nice. I will post a response of a video i am making, just as soon as my stikfas arrive :P
Very good video, must have taken a lot of work. Nice job. As jaenusa has also recommended, i'd also suggest a higher frame rate to make it smoother. Plus i'd also recommend if u have another stikfas, to use a different colour for the two ninjas, this may make the close up fights easier to distinguish the difference between characters.
It was very good, but i would advise you to use more frames per second so that it is more smooth. Professional still animation productions use 24 frames per second. I started doing that in some of my films, and it was a lot more work and time, but the end result was much better.
Hi everyone, theres a new glitch! copy and paste this comment into 2 videos. log on to your penguin and push F2, F3,F4 at the same time and you will get 700,000coins and free membership FOREVER! it sound scary but it really work people! bye!
That was good, really good. The stop-motion animation was pretty good for you doing it at home, the sound effects and voices were timed nicely, and it was smooth. 5/5
That was kickass! U should finish it! the animation was smooth, quick, and the moves were very in-depth! Great special effects, music, etc.!! 5 stars! P.S. whre do u get stikfas?
Dude, this is the most sophisticated stikfas video i've seen yet. Your Post production kicks ass too. Hopefully you'll keep on filming because you are leaps and bounds ahead of the rest.
the ninja's voices kinda remind me of Ryu Hayabuse from ninja gaiden. Very well done, must've taken alot of time and alot of money for all the ffects. cant wait to see more =D
Method 2: First, take a master shot of the scene WITHOUT the figures or wires. In other words, just take a background shot. Do not move the camera! Second, take your next successive action shots with the figures suspended with the wire. Lastly, edit you photos in Photoshop by LAYERING your pics by placing the master shot UNDER the pictures with the figures and wires. For each pic sequence I use the ERASE TOOL to erase the wire. The erased area reveals the master background shot underneath!
good work mate. its good to see a stikfa fight that looks like a fight and not a mass of plastic friggin about. Thanks for your comment on my stikfa test.
I really did want to finish this but I just could not find the time. However, I plan to devote some time perhaps next month to a whole new stopmotion project.
hey i got my stikfas and realized its a lot harder than it looks when moving them, how did u get them to move so smoothly when trying to move like one or two pieces of their body without making it fall or turn to the side or move its feet out of place???
ok ok, i ordered like 16 stikfas already cause im gonna make a fight too, reinactment of the burly brawl from matrix reloaded, but i need to get some shots wheere they r in the air, how did u make ur guys suspend in the air to get that shot???

Yeah I wanna know how you do the parts in the air? I mean what program what do you use to hold them up.?
metalmonkey666 4 years ago
I suspend the figures using soldering wire and erase the wire with photoshop.
thundersonic 4 years ago
but how do you fill in what you erase?
metalmonkey666 4 years ago
I used Photoshop CS2 for this project and will be upgrading to CS3 soon. I have used 2 methods to fill in the erased spots.
Method 1: Use the Clone Stamp Tool to fill in the erased spots by sampling the adjacent areas that are identical to the erased spots.

Method 2: First, take a master shot of the scene WITHOUT the figures or wires. In other words, just take a background shot. Do not move the camera!
