1. The game utilizes an anti-hacking software, HackShield, which makes it problematic to start the game the first time you try to play it.

2. The game is rumored to be buggy and of course it is.

3. The community sucks, just like in RuneScape and fucking Shitblox (Roblox.)

4. The graphics suck.

5. Fucking Nexon can't update the game and fix all the problems.

The only positive thing about this game is the combat system, which I think is decent.

I am confused. While I agree it is good to spend time and money in order to help others, I do think it would be a sad life if we did not put some effort into enjoying life ourselves.

Maplestory basically sucks because of the grinding. If you end up liking this game from playing it you'll find yourself spending countless hours plying this game because you want to level up so bad. So I suggest to avoid wasting a good chunk of your life trying to get to level 120, Join a private server. Get bored with the game fast and move on. You will feel much better when you compleated your task.

Note: studies have shown that you DO NOT get a REAL pot of gold at level 120 or 200. Sorry.
